Visual identity, illustration and digital design for Birchbox’s highly anticipated Canadian launch.
I teamed up with my colleague, print & packaging designer Mary Rabun, to conceptualize the visuals for Birchbox's Canadian launch. The goal was to create a visual identity for the launch campaign—something fun and distinct, yet still recognizable and true to the Birchbox brand across physical and digital assets. Mary and I came up with the concept of a vintage travel postcard with a Birchbox-spin, and we both divided up the work of illustrating some of Canada's iconic landmarks. These illustrations would be used to fill the characters on the box sleeve, which Mary designed, and also on the digital assets I created.
Many happy customers shared the digital artwork and images of their box across social media, encouraging fellow Canadians to also sign up for a Birchbox subscription. A huge success, eh?
